I registered as a patron, but couldn't create my account.

I got the following error:

rake aborted!
Don't know how to build task 'mastodon:add_user_automatic' (see --tasks)

So I looked into why, and (maybe) fixed it by bringing in the code from the 2.5 branch. Thanks!

haha, i meant to replace this rake task with a proper call to the new tootctl interface, but that didn't happen last weekend so it's probably best to keep bringing this forward for now. thanks for the PR! email me if you need an invite link btw
